April 26, 1960 - January 13, 2013

Mike joined William Steele & Associates as a shareholder in January 2002. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Tax Principal in the New England Exempt Organization Tax practice of Ernst & Young, LLP. Mike enjoyed a twenty-five year career specializing in tax consulting and compliance for tax-exempt organizations, publicly traded corporations, and entrepreneurial companies in a variety of industries. An active and committed member of the Greater Manchester community, Mike chaired the Board of Registrars of the city of Manchester, served as a member of the audit committee of Child and Family Services, and acted as treasurer for Sudden Pitch. He previously sat on the board of the Manchester Boys and Girls Club.

Mike fulfilled his personal, professional and community endeavors with grace, intelligence, and enthusiasm. He will be greatly missed by all of us who were fortunate enough to work with him every day over the past decade. He was remembered fondly in the Union Leader on January 15, 2013.
